Motorcycle: Honda NC 700X

Itinerary

In October 2013, I embarked on an unforgettable motorcycle journey through southern Spain aboard a trusty Honda NC 700X. The trip kicked off with a flight from Boise (BOI) to Málaga (AGP), where I spent a relaxing first day at the Tryp Guadalmar Hotel, soaking in the coastal vibes of Málaga. From there, I hit the road, winding through the stunning Andalusian landscape.

The first ride took me from Málaga to Granada, where I stayed at the Alixares Hotel, just steps from the iconic Alhambra. Next, I cruised to Antequera, checking into the Antequera Golf Hotel and exploring the town’s historic charm. The journey continued to Arcos de la Frontera, a picturesque hilltop village, where I spent a night at the Parador de la Frontera Hotel. From there, I rode to Ronda, basing myself at the Reina Victoria Hotel for two nights—one to explore the dramatic cliffs and deep gorges of the area, and another to simply enjoy the ride.

The final leg brought me full circle back to Málaga, where I wrapped up the trip at the Tryp Guadalmar Hotel before catching my flight home from AGP to BOI. Eight days of open roads, breathtaking views, and the purr of the Honda NC 700X—southern Spain delivered a rider’s dream.
